You may notice that beginning with the September Bookrak catalog, there are a bit fewer titles being offered.

This is because of the troubling news that Dorchester Publishing is exiting the printed book business, and are focusing on digitally printed (electronic) books.

This is likely a move they have made as they are having difficulty in competing with the other major mass market paperback book publishers such as, Random House, Simon & Schuster, Penguin, Kensington, St. Martin’s Press, and Grand Central (formerly Time Warner).

This saddens me as, they have been around for so long and have had many good authors writing for them, including my favorite Bobbi Smith. At any rate, we will continue to offer all that is published in new & original titles from these major publishers, which will still leave a broad selection for your reading pleasure in all genres.
